Women and Children Aid The Gambia

When a mother thrives, a whole family grows.

WoCAG supports women and children across The Gambia with health, education, protection and opportunity, because strong women and healthy children build strong communities.

Who we are

Women and Children Aid The Gambia (WoCAG) is a registered charity in The Gambia, dedicated to improving the lives of women and children.

Women and children are often the most affected by poverty, poor access to health care and limited opportunities. WoCAG works with communities to close those gaps, from maternal and child health to education, protection and economic empowerment.

We believe that when women have the support they need, children grow up healthier, better educated and safer.

CareEvery woman and child deserves compassion and support.
ProtectionSafety and dignity come first.
EmpowermentWe build skills and confidence, not dependence.
PartnershipWe work with families, communities and partners.
